guys, i been playing my switch in handheld for the past 1 year plus.
now i finally got the time to connect it up to my monitor but somehow, the screen isn't displaying.

So what I had done is this
Plug AC adapter in to dock
Plug in HDMI cable to dock
Connect the other end of my monitor (I'm using a HDMI to DisplayPort adapter)
Insert in Switch

Then my monitor will flicker awhile.. then go back to blank screen. Showing "no DP cable detected"
But when I tried it on my laptop, it's working well...

Anyway to resolve this?

Wow. Prices are crazy now.

I have 4 of those consoles dormant in the house. & 2 games still not opened.

May nudge my kids to "revive" the Nintendo Switch-es when the school holiday period kicks in.

U test by connecting to a HDMI device first.

Just wait if you can. My company supply chain from China has recovered already. Just monitor Japan Yodobashi or HK Fortress. Once up for sale again on their portals, should mean stocks are okay liao.
