Nope, no news, Nintendo tight lipped but confirm something is coming in time.

Though they say the "enhanced" or "pro" is further in the time line.

The one said to be dropping first is the lite one.

The Journal does say that Nintendo is making a Switch model that looks just like the current one, although it will have “beefed-up” components, while the less-expensive one would feature a new design. The report also notes that the holiday season is a key period to lock in sales for Nintendo, especially considering that Microsoft will launch a massive Xbox update next year. Sony’s PS5, we’ll add, is expected to drop around the same time.

Hi guys, was thinking of getting my first Switch but need some advice from you experts here.

I was thinking of getting a special edition such as the Go Eevee/Go Pikachu edition but is it really worth paying $600+ for it? Or just getting the regular one will do?

Heard that there is a newer and improved version coming later this year, or should I hold on first?

Hold on first, if new models releasing, pricing on old models (including special editions) will drop. Question is do you need a switch now?

Not urgent to have one now but my concern is what if by that time the new version is released, the special edition I wanted may not be available anymore.

I will be going reservist soon and thinking of bringing in my Switch (without the dock). Hence, I would like to buy a wired charger for it (not using power bank).

just puchased switch super smash bros bundle edition from qoo10 for 395. hopefully its legit! was salty that i missed out on shopback nintendo switch for 249

you can actually use a normal mobile phone charger and it will work alright. no need to specially buy a charger for it. the switch is only fussy with charger when it comes to powering the dock.

Ah i see, in that case i can actually use the USB-C to USB cable that came with the switch pro controller right? Just need an adapter will do.

for sure. was thinking of getting just a normal one for 335. but i bought mario edition not for the design but with the pro controller and game at 60 extra so i think its pretty worth it
