What’s the difference between PEGI and ESRB rated games? Why some buyers making a fuss over the different logo?

PEGI is Europe region while ESRB is is USA region. Usually people will prefer ESRB rating because their Nintendo account is also under USA region hence the convenience of buying DLC etc. Otherwise gameplay is the same for both regions, online multiplayer can play against worldwide people.

I see I see thanks. I was confused since same content and gameplay but saw some buyers complaining over the issue.

I bought DLC from US eshop for my PEGI physical copy with zero problems...I also can redeem PEGI Gold Coins on my US or Mexican eshop...The real reason why people buy ESRB over PEGI is from a collector point of view as they prefer to have a uniform collection...More like OCD than anything else...
