So tempting. but zero experience with buying console. other than warranty, any other disadvantageous when purchasing a korean set? ie. region / language lock for some features etc?

Scum culture country. Don't buy from them. If anything happens no warranty. Just pay a bit more get local set. You want to potentially waste $509 + GST or spend more for guaranteed to work?

U cant buy any game from eshop or play online
China set is like a semi bricked set outside china

Amazon.sg ones are local set and comes with warranty. Arrives Tuesday if you get it today.

I hooted the Animal Crossing console.

do not ever buy china set nintendo switch , they are region locked.
The rest from korea japan europe us singapore all are possible to play online ,
dont worry about korea japan set which are non english, u can set the language to english inside the setting
