What kind of capacity you looking for? I've used Samsung Evo Select(128gb) and Evo Plus(512gb) and they're both working great. The Evo plus have slightly better load times though.

Depends on the game you want to install. Switch game sizes are typically 10-20gb+ so a 128gb can store about 6 games? If you're really particular then I suggest you go google the file sizes of the games you planning to get and tally them tgt.

I bought the 512gb because I didn't wanna worry about storage space. You can get one pretty cheap for like $70-80 these days.

Any brand bah. I typically use sandisk or samsung though. Not sure about SP since I dont use any.

Just buy Samsung Evo Plus or SanDisk Ultra. No need to specifically get Nintendo branded SanDisk card as it is the same as SanDisk Ultra just rebranded by Nintendo to charge you extra. Personally using Samsung Evo Plus for a few years already been working flawlessly.

More importantly get from reputable seller and not those fake capacity cards.

Red is old model with lower speed and white is newer model (to replace old model) with faster speed. I’m not sure if Nintendo switch can take advantage of the higher speed, but if can then I would buy the newer model pay a bit more. I am using red model as that time white model not launched yet.
