Well i for one would not buy digital games, period. Just stick to physical. In fact nintendo seldom have noteworthy digital only titles, based on experience.

Thats not the case for nintendo, they check for account + system. Eg. account A, system 1. Account B, C, D on system 1 cannot play. Account A using system 2, 3, 4 cannot play. Strictly must account A on system 1.
If the Switch works like the Wii U as described earlier, then there is no Account B, C, D on system 1, cos it only has 1 account per system.

as for regional lock of DLC. i think that applies for PSN as well? or they have moved on le? my experience on PS3 is quite poor.
On PS4 (as well as PS3) generally DLCs are not compatible across regions (ie. if game is US, should get DLC from US store). However there are many exceptions. Regardless, the important point is that you can have multiple accounts on the same console. So if you bot a UK game and need UK DLC, just use a UK account to buy it. All accounts on the same console can use it. So can use back US or SG account to play the UK game, with UK DLC purchased by a UK account.

Haven't been following Nintendo scene, so they are not into indie games then? All titles, no matter how small, will have a physical release? No episodic either?

still need a UK credit card or some way to buy UK PSN credits through a trusted 3rd party right?

They have indies, but very few compared to vita. Digital titles mainly are those older gen games lo, like gunstar heroes from sega, or simply ds games. Yea almost every new nintendo game u can hear about has physical release.

The next game in the Fire Emblem franchise is in development for Nintendo 3DS. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is a reworking of Fire Emblem Gaiden, Nintendo announced during a Fire Emblem-themed direct this evening.

http://www.polygon.com/2017/1/18/14316150/fire-emblem-nintendo-switch
A new Fire Emblem title is in development for Nintendo Switch, the company announced during a Nintendo Direct presentation for the franchise.

The unnamed game is set to debut sometime in 2018. It will be the first Fire Emblem title to be released on home consoles in more than a decade: The most recent one was the Wii game Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, which launched in November 2007 in North America.

and then there is Fire Emblem Heroes for Android. No one cares about.

if you are wondering what's on the back

Thanks for sharing that. With that, we now know that this has a maximum draw of 39W (15V * 2.6A) and which 3rd party charger will support it.

*Edit* Apparently this was made known from leaked FCC documents back in December.

What's also interesting is that the Wii LAN adaptor was also tested with the Switch based on the info in that link.

Or Singapore is not a launch country.

let's recap
The Nintendo Switch will launch in Japan, the US, Canada, "major European countries" and Hong Kong on March 3

unless we are tagged with Hong Kong.
