I mean if the desync issue is not solvable by firmware update, should definitely wait to buy until it's solved.

usually it's due to either low power to signal, hardware issue, or external interference. or a combo of all 3.

my personal take, it's a hardware issue and no amount of firmware fix is going to resolve it. Don't get me wrong, I like Nintendo devices and concepts but they always have some way to screw-up some basic functionality. If there is no answer / response by this weekend on the Desync issue, going to cancel next week.

granted kickstand can be put back pretty easily. still....

i wanna trick my colleagues by giving them a shock when they are attaching the joy-cons in table top mode resulting in breaking the kickstand

so if the controller is out-of-sight, the connection gets jumpy.

is that also the same reason why the left player almost always lose in 1-2-Switch cowboy game?

Weird behaviour but not too much of an issue for me... if out of sight how to play the game since you will be blocked? LOLx. Anyway I will play only in handheld mode or desktop mode so should be fine bah?

1-2 switch will be severely affected in this case? Since u don't need to be near to the dock to play this game.

Also if your joycon is too far from console de syncing issues? Pole are saying 10 feet which is 3m only. Problem too

this is a serious problem that should have an official press release. or Nintendo should have informed the reviewers beforehand if the fix is coming day 1.

the last thing you want is reviewers reporting on such a serious issues adding more questions and doubts to an already secretive console.

Nintendo will definitely do something for all this issues reported and as long as you bought the local warranty set...you can claim warranty with local distro...

I'm keeping mine. Mostly playing in portable mode so the joy-con shouldn't be an issue. My sofa also not far from tv so distance also no issue. Maybe i'm in delusional mode

No issue too. But concern ba. Since most singaporean chao peasant with pigeon hole house. so no issue

tbh i dun understand the need to pay full price for a game that's been available nearly 3 years ago and on multiple platforms. same for other indie titles on launch day.

for the same price, probably can get all the launch Switch indie titles for PC or other consoles.

rather wait till it drops to bargain bin pricing and spend money on more exclusive content.

The only perk is that the Switch version will be getting the major new content "Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment" on March 3/launch day. The other platforms will be getting this update some time in April.

If u own Shovel Knight on other platforms before March 3, your game will automatically be updated with the new content for free. If u purchase Shovel Knight after March 3, you have to pay 9.99USD for the update.
