Most of the above info can be found in IGN few days ago, but they are leaked info. Well, recently call the switch leaked are kinda zhun also.

well. certainly there are people that don't care about them. (e.g. me)
well.. maybe eShop and VC

specs, if wanna compare will be apple and orange. it depends on how much power the software development kit can give the developers.

there are reasons why the definitive version of Silent Hill 2 is still PS2. no other master/remaster came closed to the original version. same goes for Gamecube's Resident Evil 4.


but still. i believe Switch is a rushed system. because of Zelda.

Ya lor, that's y i chose the 1,2 swtich bundle. because of neon red/blue controllers. Talking about 2nd set of joy-con... do you all think 2nd set of joy con better or a pro controller is better.... coz if buy 2nd set of joy-con, there is no grip given need to find the joy-con charging grip which is another cost.

I guess need to try out before we purchase 2nd set of joycon even if i gian the color :s13:.

Not all, me and some fren who mostly play handheld games are getting switch only because its portable. They don't have a big TV at home for console.

Maybe not everyone is interested in every details but the lack of official information is deafening, it kinda gives the impression that they might not even have thought about it. Things that the competitors have for ages Nintendo still stubbornly disregard, they just keep doing what they were doing since there are tons of fanboys who will buy them anyway. They are changing but still not forthcoming in telling people to what extend they are changing.

Xbox One lost the war from the beginning becos they wanted to stop the sale of used games; there's no telling if Nintendo has some dumb ass policy that they are not telling ppl yet (I am sure it's not the Xbox One scenario). I hope not, cos sadly I already missed a whole generation of games that I wanted to play on 3DS (also a few on Wii U) becos of the stupid region restriction. Hope they really learned the lesson and keep up with the competition in every aspect instead of just opening up a tiny bit and then taking steps back elsewhere. Again, we will only know when real information comes.

btw, I think the Wii version of RE4 is a better one.

In the settings menu, I see the word "Users". The sub-menu has the "Add user" option, so that's a good sign, at least has multiple users on one console. How digital contents owned by each user (as well as online subscription) is share among users remain to be seen.

i am pretty sure DRM is going to come in for hardcopy games.
Xbox One mentioned about it = DOA

so Nintendo played smart not talking about it.
i don't see any wrong with DRM actually. reselling games only benefits shops & customers. not the developers. heck shops might even sell them as brand new :s13:

this is the recent case whereby Gamestop asks their employees to sell more used games
