Thanks for the quick reply, hopefully by then there will be stock? I'm just afraid that i will be stuck with a Jap set and there is no way to change the OS menu or need to hunt for a transformer for the power plug to work....

No worries about the plug. Menu can set English. Plenty of people got it from Amazon JP, some here also got it from there. Stock wise is see how lucky you are when you head over. Only thing to worry is just no warranty.

Just took my set out of box, noticed these scuff marks on all corners esp bottom right on the unit itself, plus a hairline scratch on the sides, is it normal?

Anyone else having this issue on their switch unit as well? not sure how to go about an exchange now, Lazada set.

Hope to seek some advice from others who have gotten their set

Definitely not usual....Ur looks more like a used or demo set... I think u need to contact Lazada directly to resolve this... I don think it's under tog reseller... and also maxsoft not going to entertain this...

Lazada won't bother about the cosmetic imperfections. You ahould dip the NS into water then report it is DOA.

Alternatively you can sell to me @ $300.

Sigh. Pretty sure my set has a faulty battery. It discharges even when on sleep mode or turned off.
At first I thought it was charging the joycons but happened even when the joycons were removed.

Got it from Funz Centre at OC. Not sure if they will have one to one replacement within 7 days.

The worst thing is it's confirmed saved games can't be transferred out of the console

Did u purchase the 599 or 649 bundle from Lazada. Note that 599 sell is from TOG while the 649 set is by Lazada themselves.
