Anyone using tempered glass screen protector?

Any issue docking the switch?

Checked mine with normal film protector, don't seem to have anymore room for a thicker protector e.g glass

Bought the Switch from Qishan.

Everything is working great. Dock is ok. No dead pixel. Joy con working fine. I'm impressed with the design of the Switch. Nintendo done a good job this time.

I think those problems on the internet are exaggerated. Its just that when every affected users posted on internet, it would seems to be a widespread problem. But its not because everyone else is enjoying the new console.

I'm very happy with the purchase. :)

Scratches are real. the back of my switch has those rubbing/ abrasion marks of the matt surface. docking the switch and has those marks seems inevitable. I had now put some Velcro padding inside the dock to smoothen the docking

Well in my opnion .

I dun think its exaggerated , 1st production batches always tend to have issues like RROD ,etc .
Its a risk consumers have take when they want the console asap at launch , a higher possibility of getting a inferior quality product which makes warranty essential.

I'll still buy the switch but at later time when more games are released and prices match the current console prices ,a overall better quality product , better gaming experience with lesser worries.

I hope they fix issues like scratch on dock and sync hardware issues later on too.

do you guys power off the switch when docked to let it charge the Joy-Con controllers? I did it by docking the switch first and pressing the power button to completely power off, otherwise even if you power off the console first, the moment you dock it's going to power back on)

i did that yesterday overnight, today I turned it back on, my console is fully charged but not my Joy-Con controllers (probably half full at max, suspect never charge), am i missing something?

or do i leave it in sleep mode to charge the Joy-Cons when docked?

Most rationale response so far. Unlike others who bash or those who bought and claim no problems

from what i learned online, the switch and joycon are supposed to charge as long they are docked even when turned off.

No idea why yrs cant. Have you properly inserted the joycon till the click sound?

yes mine is inserted till i hear a click to know it's secure in place, i searched online and it seems a few are facing this issue where you power off the console, it doesn't seem to charge, cause i did try to power off the console and the moment i dock it, it will boot by itself and go into sleep.

I thereafter press and hold the power button in the dock to power down it where i guess it will not charge the joy-con this way.
