While this is true for the case of USB A to micro usb or other legacy connection, this is not true for the case of USB A to USB C connection. USB C is designed to provide a higher draw than the older connection. By using an USB A to USB C cable, the USB C side does not recognize the USB A as a legacy connection. It still sees the USB A end as a typical USB C end and will thus try to draw as much current as the cable is rated as.

The standard will be a screen protector and a pouch to bring out. Some of us got the joycon crystal protector (Hori). And to use it outside of the dock, you need a male end and female end USB C cable.

Think most of the peeps here bought online cause cheaper. If you dont mind higher price, can check out challenger (bigger outlet might have) or SLS, they should sell these cables as well.

They gave me one to one after verifying the battery issue. Takes one day or so.

That one is USB C - A. You need C - C. Something like this.

Most I saw got amFilm brand tampered glass. But more troublesome, since it doesnt ship to SG directly from Amazon.

glass screen protector makes more sense as the screen itself is made of softer plastic

Most I saw got amFilm brand tampered glass. But more troublesome, since it doesnt ship to SG directly from Amazon.

It does ship to Singapore, but i notice sometime they change the option not available to Singapore.

I ordered mine few days ago so just keep a look out when the option reverse back.

Dont buy any random generic usb c female extension. It will damage your Switch or dock. Not all no brand generic type c cable can carry the Switch video signal (Even if they do, u might face issue like flickering screen, loss of signal during gameplay etc). Buy the 1 from cablecreation. Its verified to be able to carry the Switch video signal with no issue.
