Botw is 30fps though.
yup. that is the unfortunate thing here. since a lot of BotW gameplay requires quick reaction, dodging attacks, whipping out bow and arrow quickly. maybe that's why I prefer to run away from enemies instead of engaging them head on.

but it's open world. so that is the trade off. unless we are talking about a PC port. then again, the game is not even running on the original platform (Wii U).

Purchased 3ds, 3ds xl, New 3ds xl on their official launch day. Haven't heard of any bundle.

Maxsoft forced every retailer that wants a Switch to purchase the 1-2 Switch and Zelda game. Retailers have no choice but to sell those to us as a bundle. Maxsoft official statement is that retailers have the choice to sell the games and console separately but seriously which retailers would do that and be stuck with a truckload of those games?

Selling separately will definitely happen. (Like how early 3DS days are all bundled with the Mario Kart games) But I doubt it will happen any time soon. The next bundle probably gonna be with Mario Kart 8.

I would love to hear Maxsoft side of the story on whether the bundle was from them or was passed down directly from Nintendo.

with availability of digital copies, no reason to really bundle games in. and heck, how about those who preordered the special edition of BotW.

anyways, here's hoping hard copies will die off in the near future, pretty sure games can be priced lower than our current pricing.

Maxsoft did mention that they did not force any bundle to the consumer. But pushing the blame to retailer is unethical in this scenario. They "forced" the bundle to retailers and give them a choice to sell those games alone...retailer sure will pass it down to consumer 1 what..

yeah. Thats why i am considering, if possible, should i buy the bundle at about 550. Switch cost will remain at about 400 bucks. That one is confirmed. Zelda will remain near 80 bucks. So the rest of the crap, 3 amiibos and 1,2 switch is actually quite worthless to me.

I dont mind the switch and zelda price. The US price is already about 500 sgd at current exchange rate. but we all know that 1-2 switch will cost like 10 bucks used in the future. Amiibos are like $5 each or even cheaper. Zelda's prices will maintain near its value for awhile.

But lets say the lazada's price is really 539 + shopback + credit card cashback. The price is quite close to what i would like to pay. But just thinking, if i wait about 3 months, it may be even cheaper and i don't have time to play for a couple of months anyway.

But on the other hand, a lot of retailers going back to 699. If the shops all sell at rrp, I will not buy until long long later too. All i want is switch + zelda. Not that interested in mario kart or 1-2 switch which are the likelt bundles.
If they have a splatoon and zelda bundle then maybe i would go for that

Quite conficted now whether to just try for the lazada one if its avaliable.

In general, how much does singapore console price drop? I hardly buy any consoles near launch so i don't know. If i buy now will price drop a lot in the future?

If they force the retailers to get so many copies of 1-2 switch. they have no choice but to bundle it too. Honestly no one wants that game for so much money

Taking reference from Nintendo 3DS XL, price remain consistent at RRP for very long. I think is hard for the NS to drop in price, even 3 or 6 months down the road.

Yeah. But because our prices are "inflated" now with the bundle with a bad game. Chances are they will swap zelda with mario kart fo the new bundle.

But if they switch (haha) 1-2 switch for a better game, its like a discount.
Not sure if that will happen though.

Also, when the 3ds had a price cut in the US, did we get a discount here or still same rrp?

I think if you wait until our local price is competitive with US, you'll never buy a console here.
Even PS4 is still cheaper to buy from Amazon US. Our bundle here is like 449 with 2 games. Amazon is US$250 with 1 game. I heard in Europe they sell PS4 bundle at 188 Euro?
If you want to buy console, either choose with local warranty at higher price or buy from overseas no warranty at lower price.

Maxsoft did ask sellers to take certain amount of products so that they will get limited edition of that products if have. Very miserable. Like for every 10 items u can buy one limited edition item. So if there are many customers wanted to get le then good luck. If other sellers know u sell cheaper u will get warning call from maxsoft as that seller complain against you. I am a seller before n take goods from maxsoft before. Really hate the big boss of maxsoft. Throw weight around. Even own staff also kena.

Probably cause exclusive disty plus got power over reseller selling price, gotta depend on how the system has been in play all these while.

Some vendors ensure resellers strictly follow SRP, some don't.

Maxsoft staff did secretly tell us who tell on us about selling cheap hahah. Anyway maxsoft in SG has very huge mountain so whatever nonsense price they sell sellers still need to die die take from them.

They do it to retailer..not consumer. Any thing they just push blame to retailer.

sure got email as proof of such practices. Suggested retail price doesnt mean retailers need to follow the price if I am not wrong.

Complain also no use as Nintendo is connected to maxsoft somehow.

wah really ah? so it comes directly from Nintendo Loh? hmm once I am done with Zelda I am thinking of selling the console.
