Bite the bullet and go for benjamin moore.
Wah, sakti brand

I first heard about this name from Dream Home Makeover Netflix series. I like their range of colors, but I'm too stingy to splurge on a flat on a long term lease.

If I kena TOTO I will hoot Ben Moore for my private house for sure

Cateful ya. BM paint not easy especially those Aura range. If not done properly it would leave obvious painting marks. But their basic range can be done yourself.

tip: buy your own Nippon paint and go to a nearby precinct that is performing HIP and talk to the bangalas there to do the painting for you on Sunday.

thank me later for saving your some $$$
they hv been doing that illegally, canvassing around. Work on Sat/Sun/PH only.
Once paid, you will not find them.
Many a time, I hv to attend the shortcomings.

Most importantly when u do painting urself ....
Ensure u clean the wall before painting. Let the wet wall dry first . Then send of any uneven part. Wipe off the sanding part and let it dry. Then apply primer. Once primer dry then sand off again .

Most people wall peel off cause they don clean wall and wait till dry + don apply primer (base coat) . Like apply nail polish.

easy no kick, i buy to test test painting skill, and also to test i sand the wall then paint vs i sand the wall then wipe the dust off, sanded wall vs unsanded wall, then use duck tape to press in to the wall and pull out, to see if wipe dust off after sanded or not got any issues.

i also wait for 1 month then touch up, aura is good, i touch up, i repaint half the wall again, i cant even see after it touch up before etc.........

Sanded wall is super smooth. i like it a lot,

FYI, the paint color i choose is CSP-185.

i tested this color cause it one of a few paint color name that is trademark and it 6 colorants (those 6 colorants do not contain grey or black colorant inside)

paint talk forums say different light the wall will change color a bit wish is surprisingly to me, different light the wall you can see a little beige, not much light a hint of green, sunlight, creamly warm white etc....

I prefer white. Those white that could reflect light to make the room brighter which one would u recommend?

if you just want to be as bright as possible. my paint color will be Chantilly Lace, it LRV 90.04 .

LRV is Light Reflectance Value, it tell the percentage of light reflected from a surface. LRVs range from 0-100, with 100 being pure white and 0 being absolute black.

so Chantilly Lace can Reflect 90% of the visible light off the paint

for me i will choose either swiss coffee LRV: 81.91% or White Dove 83.16%, this give the room a little warm to it

oh to help the paint to Reflect more light, the paint finish should be at least eggshell, your home furnishing need to be light in color, all these make your home look bright

Chantilly Lace is 1
swiss coffee is 4
White Dove is 2

local paint company like nippon, dulux i try to ask for their LRV, they dont want give and told me it for designer.

I engaged Gush, a local paint company that manufactures air purifying paint. The paint odourless.
Their painters are quite pro.
