I am reluctant to do one. He kept pestering me to do something for him. Actually can do it by forms. But no singpass, book hospital, polyclinic appointments all these also not convenient.

When i old i think i'll stop all thes hp nonsense online nonsense.

Retired so many free time, just queue at banks, cpf/hdb branches. Sit there chit chat with the ah soh beside me, who knows, can flirt and have some twilight fling

No smartphone I can understand but no hp? Wow. Go ask your local CC bah. They surely have a solution.

I had similar issue as my parents are illterate, and dont have smart phones I contacted Singpass and was given an option to link their accounts to my mobile number. They did a zoom call with my parents (just to ascertain that proper consent is given and no hanky panky like i try to steal their money or what) and it's done.

So now i can access their singpass using password log-in and SMS OTP to my mobile. This is very helpful for me to help them check their CPF to confirm govt payouts have been deposited, check transaction records etc. However, I am not sure how long this can last as they are moving to facial recognition - which means need them to be physically beside me when i access (very inconvenient). But in the interim, sms otp is still allowed as an alternative mode.

Stupid scholars lah make everyone must have mobile number. Then old people don't work mah still must make them pay money subscribe mobile plan nvm then got number mean must have mobile phone! Then mobile phone can't be laoya cuz laoya mean singpass can't use or what lol

My mom also no hp. So no sinpass for her... also even if hv she also dun use and later we hv to jajar for her ... so might as well no sinpass for her.... my father has hp and we reg sinpass for him but her so troublesome... rem pw and sometimes need face recognition ... difficult for old pple...

Confirm can link your dad’s SingPass account to your mobile to receive the SMS OTP. I just did it for my mum 2 months ago at the one of the SingPass counter in the CC. Need to bring your dad along and as well both your ICs
