The data add-on prices are also revised. Overall a good offer especially for those traveling to HK & PRC :o

No need travel. Use in SG only also great considering Grid Mobile $37.90 100GB has less talk time and sms and 80GB add on pack is only temporary (12 months).

Just lack of VoLTE

If they using Singtel network same like Grid.
Connection should be stable.
Volte is good to have but no urgency.

This mvno can on hotspot for other phones to use?

As I always go China for holiday, was considering switching to this instead of using giga.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Now I can get OTP from UOB, OCBC, CmLink themselves. But still no OTP from government sources like Singpass or EzLink. Anyone encountered similar issue?

This is scary. Cannot receive OTP can be a hassle especially now so many things require OTP.

Never had any problems with CMLink and OTP etc. Been on their old promo since June, so it's good that they have a new pricing plan since I doubt many people would have remained on their service after the bill credits without being able to travel.

Transfer of ownership when you porting into CMLink is free. You cannot transfer ownership when in service.

The above I confirmed with CMLink.

Thanks for both above replies for my question.

Possible to port over from giga? How long does porting usually takes and anyone else having issues with receiving OTPs?

Porting is very fast and efficient, after all it is China mobile.

The only worry should be whether ur name is correctly spelled or arranged. OTP wise let others confirm for you as I don't use OTP on China mobile

Porting was during the night of the day I received the sim card.

I ported over from TPG and I had some OTP issues initially. Got OTP from CMLink themselves and banks, but not from garmen or other places. Then exactly a week later, all come in le. Probably something to do with swapping from network to network. Or maybe another TPG problem.

I received 2 SIM cards from cmlink yesterday. One of them couldn't be activated. The other one already ported over my old number.
