any nokia 7 plus users have problems with the headphone detection?

ie. plugged in headphone = not detected, sound from speaker
plugged out headphone = detected, no sound from speaker

Under Settings>Decoder>HW+ video codecs and HW+ audio codecs, which codecs are hardware accelerated?

i had this problem before. intermittent issue and fixable only by reboot. never really knew what caused it but because of the rarity of occurrence, hard to troubleshoot

I have a friend with the Nokia 7 plus and he complained about the same. Saw a few complaints online too. :/

i had this problem before. intermittent issue and fixable only by reboot. never really knew what caused it but because of the rarity of occurrence, hard to troubleshoot

Yea.. saw on nokia forums the last few replies someone replaced the headphone jack and it solved the problem. i wonder anyone here tried as well and worked?

SingTel & Starhub not working, service not provisioned, M1 is ok.

That is sad, though VoLTE is not a deal-breaker.

SingTel & StarHub don't carry the phone, think that is the reason no provisioning of VoLTE for the phone.

This could be the final preview version of Android Pie for N7p. There is no more prompting of developer preview when device started. Google play no more showing of uncertified device. Security patch level updated to Sep/2018.
Download from developer portal and sideload to your device w/out wiping data, or initiate an OTA from developer portal that will wipe data.


Update: Google Play still shows the device as not certified.

I'm not able to answer you on this matter. I would think both OTA & sideload method would be made available for the stable release.
