Note II Bezel replacement

So the worst drop for my phone happened just this afternoon. Phone slipped out of my pocket and hit the acute edge of the step of the toilet. Thank god it didn't drop into the toilet bowl haha.

The side of my phone where the power/sleep button sits at is slightly dented in. Button still works but its an eye sore for someone with ocd like me haha.

Is there anywhere I can get my hands on a set of original bezel? Is sending the phone in for replacement of the bezel and button a good idea?

I done replacement of parts on my blackberry before and i think the note 2 isn't that difficult. But im afraid the oem bezel that I am intending to get isnt as good as the original in terms of the wifi or 4g connection etc..

Do recommend where i can get my hands on a set of original bezel!!

Changing just the silver bezel is $100 from samsung service center. Chaging LCD is $148.

I changed basically everything in front is 248bucks...

Lcd ya is 148 dollar. Bezel 40 to 60.. I was quoted 50 dollar.. but do some trick become only 148 with lcd and bezel ..

Yup.. at counter they will quote higher price aka non warrenty rate.inside will have warranty rate for u..

My gf drop they nv do bezel only lcd. Bang table they go change bezel .. only 15 min done

No need bang table... Replaced like very fast. $53.10. But the craziest was when the lady called me about 10 mins after I left the SC. She asked me to go back because she forgot a "few" screws! Its not exactly a "few" ... like all screws not put back! Luckily I was still in Marina! If I had left the place... I will claim for parking and so on!

Under certain circumstances, the management will decide if a certain discount should be given. However this is just a kind gesture, and it depends on who is handling the case.

Bang table no use one. If I was the service manager, I will gladly invite the customer out of my service centre should anyone bang table just because the phone was dropped due to user's negligence.

Only make the locals look ugly in front of the foreign employees.

I think what fabianlau and I meant was that way we seek help to ask from them; not the literal term of banging the table.

I too come from service center before and I know what goes on for that specific brand I worked in. Was just asking for advice as to what makes this service center's management "click" to help customers who "banging table" (seeking for kind offer for their service.

Some people just dont understand "bang table" mean.. the out of normal "angry".not the really bang table you "proud local".. I was told they do screen crack and bezel .. but going to collect phone they never do bezel, they say I nv request who will in right mind dont do all ...and the earlier cso say both for ×× amount, now they return me ask me pay same xx but no change bezel ..

If you will angry? Some really got reading problem. .no offence..

While you taking q number they will quote 200 to 300..when it your turn inside, the staff will quote another price under good heart or under warranty rate which is lower then earlier quoted

Change the bezel yourself. I did it for mine. Can save 30 bucks

I still have warranty for my set. About 7 months left. Better to leave it to them to do lor. Anw I'm sure anything wrong after changing using their service ($30 extra) can go back to them for help. Own self do only can go back to myself. Haha I rather spend the extra 30 bucks.
