Official fake? NothingPhone is accused of virtual standard screen maximum brightness​

The new smartphone NothingPhone, launched by OnePlus co-founder Pei Yu, attracted a lot of attention after its launch not long ago, but as the phone began to go on sale, a series of negatives began to emerge one after another.

First of all, the first batch of users reported that there was a green screen on the screen of the machine. Soon after, another user reported that the LED light strip on the back of the machine had fallen off, and the voices of complaints continued.

Recently, there have been media reports that the NothingPhone mobile phone is officially fraudulent, and the maximum brightness parameters of the display screen are falsely marked.

It is reported that the highest brightness of the screen officially marked by NothingPhone is 1200 nits, while the highest brightness of the screen in all tests by foreign media such as Computer Base, Heise and GSMArena is only about 700 nits. Then, something outrageous happened. The NothingPhone official website changed the brightness peak parameter of the machine from 1200 nits to 700 nits.

Computer Base has contacted Nothing officials about the matter, and the official response said that the issue is currently being examined internally as a "high priority".

Had a chat with nothing official store . Was told warranty service centre is handed in 2 different location . After checking the location it’s seems to be handled by MDR and arrow communication .

outside bugis challenger.. tbh.. phone looks good irl.. preorder freebies makes this white an attractive buy.. hands-on for a few mins with this phone.. UI is not bloated and quite smooth.. camera shutter speed is decent and decent pics..

Erm I haven buy yet . Thinking this or pixel 6a . Just received the 6a . Thinking to get the nothing phone also but online like so many issue
