Actually the phone quite smooth leh.

Actually I find the phone quite smooth leh. As smooth or even smoother than my s22+. Maybe the unit you were trying got some issues?

I think this phone the processor is good enough for most pple and games. I played NBA game on it for quite long and it never slowed down, unlike other phones which I've used in the past which slows down after 2 to 3 games due to thermal throttling.

Not sure also, but the frame drops and random stutters are obvious to my eyes though. If their demo phones got such issue, i think will spoil their sales also ma no?

But thats what my eyes see though. Maybe some people wont nitpick like me, but i do pay closer attention to those details as the phone isnt cheap in the first place considering the specs it offers

I compare with my s22+, I feel nothing phone is more responsive and less stuttering leh. But oneui has more useful features.

Not sure. I haven't received the update yet, saw on XDA forums. Changelog doesn't mention got update security parch though.

Cos the phone looks special so got the "wow" factor to attract people to splurge on it

Actually nowadays flagship phones all above $1k liao. Phones getting more n more expensive.

Hmm... For 12gb and 256gb I think it's ok ba, maybe a bit high especially in SG which is marked up. But if like the design and clean OS then worth it.

If i want a clean UI i will go with pixel liao le. Ya the mark up is real. If 800 ok can consider. I saw the warranty is 1 to 1 exchange though

Pixel actually not as stock anymore also. It also got its own google apps inside compared to AOSP. Ya heard the warranty is one to one exchange, maybe cheaper cos don't have to set up repair centre here.

but regardless... lets see if the diffusers will drop off due to the heat in SG as they only use adhesives to stick them.

Pixel is still stock as it comes originally from Google.

AOSP is tweaked so the dev can decide which gapps to include or not, or even those standalone gapps like nikgapps/flame gapps can allow u to choose which gapps package you want to install upon rom installation
