Yes, I hope not too. Oneplus has lost its way. Luckily Carl Pei started Nothing. Constant software tweaking and upgrades can make a device with lower powered hardware perform like a higher powered hardware under normal load usage. The SD778 on the Nothing feels just as snappy like the SD888 with much better power efficiency. Handsets equipped with the SD888 had heat issues and poor battery life.

if you are buying Nothing Phone (1).
might as well wait for Nothing phone (2) or get Poco F5 or 1+ Nord 3 or even Oppo Reno 10Pro +

Nothing Phone (1) is 2022 phone.
