last month during the 618 sale the cheapest op10pro 8+256 online in Chinese domestic market was 763sgd equivalent in cny. but of course you need to do import yourself and pay a a bit extra tax and shipping.

I believe the price will put off many phone manics (at least for me) who wanted to try this phone for fun.
The price of $869 (8+256GB) is already very close to many flagship phones.

Maybe S$599 to max S$699 still got chance.

as much as i've been reading the threads on oneplus forum, you can do it manually following certain steps. unlock the bootloader then flash in the new recovery.

Even the UI is a bit iOS-ish. When will Chinese brands learn, that people who want an iPhone will get the iPhone even if it costs more. They aren't going to spend on a cheaper iPhone clone. Oppo learned the hard way that's why their OS is more Android now compared to last time. But Nothing and Xiaomi still trying to copy iPhone in look and UI
