theres actually alot of things that can be improved from Phone 1
If they can address all that in Phone 2, they're likely to have good sales at launch
Looking through the list, only the satelite connection stood out.

The rest already industry standard for flagship product and chipset is 1 gen behind.

Still trying to draw the disco loving crowd nia.

i don't think chipset is an issue here
As a matter of fact, 7+gen2, 8+gen1, 8gen2 are all barely noticeable in terms of user experience...
And 8+gen1 on Oneplus Ace 2 has proven to be good enough to run Genshin Impact high settings for long hours
but they really need slimmer bezels ard the screen.... phone 1 was a total joke for that.... they shld make it like oneplus ace 2v or redmi note 12 turbo this time round....

Aesthetic is their only game as far as I'm concerned so they probably should go all in on that aspect like you said.

But honestly with the rumored pricing they are aiming for which is "not cheap", Anything less than 8gen2 is just cop out.

Depends on your usage of the phone. While waiting for my S23U to arrive which took around 4 weeks, I got myself a Nothing Phone 1 to use. Initial 2 days the phone felt abit laggy, screen animation wasn't smooth. But on the 3rd day, it might have stable down as I did like 6 software updates over the 1st 2 days. Batt life is very decent, heavy use end of day left 20%.

Phone didn't feel cheap nor slow, pretty snappy after all the software updates. The lights however is personal preference but I like the lights though. Maindraw point plus the low price. $698 brand new. I would say it's a pretty good phone for the price. Better than oneplus flagship in my opinion.

For their first model as a new brand, it's pretty impressive. I'm looking forward to the nothing phone 2.

How many years of OS update does nothing promise? Hope this phone support e-sim to future proof. It will be my next phone if there e-sim support.
