In front of gifted, you are nothing.... Like my elder kid sch... The gifted class look down on them...
I told him. I look at holistic development rather than academic... As long you can stay in this sch... Alr top x% alr... Don't need to compare. Enjoy your CCA and become a leader.

UNLESS the $200/hr tutor got kang tao to help your kid DSA into IP sch, then different case lah.

Let the free market decide bah. I do know of parents who don't mind getting carroted at $200/hr.

IP is a different level... I got suan siao by relative... Psle year... Tuitions cannot save one... She invested 10-20k on that year and keep haolian to people...

Well her son got good marks... But not even close to IP level... Her son score is almost double my elder one...

even home tutors also v competitive. Easier to find students if u are female. if u are male, harder to find students. Most (99%) parents prefer female tutors.

I also prefer female tutors when I was a stewdent
