Do we have to submit the overload form to our respective school while waiting for the UEs to be allocated or do we only submit the overload form after getting the UE on STARS?

Usually what reason you all give to overload uh?:(

Anyone took BF3211 Commodities Trading and Risk Management

It is a International Trading Program module. but I want to take it as a UE. I am an engineering student but read a lot on commodities due to the equity exposure I have in commodities shares

Did anyone here take HC8005 before?? Can tell me more about the course? Cause I can't really find much online and I want to know bout the assessment methods as well...

Oh and did anyone take BS0001? Is it all technical and science-y? Or more towards the effects on society side of things? Cause the course description makes it sound like more of a sociology mod than a science mod... I'm not a science person at all so how technical the course gets is very important for my decision XD

Can anyone also tell me if we can change the categorisation of our electives after being allocated them? Like from unrestricted to major-prescribed? cause i need them on my waitlist but they wont be placed there as major-prescribed so i placed them as unrestricted... so if i get allocated to them as unrestricted can i change to major-prescribed?

Hi all,
I see a lot of these pre-requisites and I don't understand what it means:
Prerequisite: LA-Yr1 intake from AY14/D.entry fromAY15;LS for others

Sometimes, it's "AHSS for others".

Questions:
1. What does LA mean?
2. What does LS mean?
3. So is the pre-requisite either I'm a LA-Y1 intake, Direct Entry from AY15, or an LS student?

Thanks!

Prior to 2014, we used to have LS and AHSS. These 2 were combined to LA in 2014.

So if you belong to the batch of 2013, you need to take LS/AHSS.
Or if you belong to the batch of 2014 or later, you need to take LA.

Most people from 2013 would have graduated by now.
