Nope. Subcomms are desperately needed and welcome, who would say no to free labour

There would be some sort of event where every portfolio display what they do or whatever after the new jcrc is formed, then all residents can go down and sign up and you are definitely in as subcommers.

Very unlikely that you'll be able to shift to a single room
