Unable to help you on that question! But for me, I'm really bad in that math module that I'm only able to truly answer 1 question, but I still managed to pass with a B. ><

My maths fail is single digit level of F9 fail.
When people say they are bad at maths, they always forget to check the dictionary. Not me

Hmm, I think there is. If I'm not wrong, I have one friend who does not have diploma with merit getting into the course.

MS with Business Major would require a compulsory interview for poly grads (not sure for jc). But I don't think there's any interview for the normal MS course!

I am actually offered with Business Major but I've rejected it as I heard from the Phd student that business major is very competitive. Your business modules will be compared against NBS students and that may probably bring your grade and GPA down. Not sure how true is that.

Im from Business and I have common classes with students from maritime studies. My senior from maritime has told me stories about how she feels that her biz modules are the ones pulling her gpa down sometimes. As a biz student, I do feel that the bellcurve for modules are very steep and unpredictable at times!

Hi,

There's 2 math modules, 1 fundamental econs, shipping econs, and some other modules which might require calculations here and there.

Believe me, I also hate these modules I was from Poly, so as compared to JC students, I had much more problems with the math modules. But if you have A-math during your secondary school, I believe there is still a chance to ace it - which I did not manage to. HAHA! If you did not have any A-math background, it will be quite hard to learn. This is due to the short lecture and tutorial hours. But you can arrange consultation with the lecturers!

For Econs, I felt that it is quite manageable. Most of the concepts are more logical like 'when you have better technology, you produce more, and your supply increases' etc. As compared to E-math, I would say that econs is more logical and easier? I think?
