hey guys, got a question here.

im taking this mod which has 2 ca, total 40%. i already scored a+ for the first 20%, and for the next 20% ca, its next thurs, and the prof sent an email saying this:

6. The quiz is mandatory. You are not allowed to miss the quiz except for a valid medical reason, which must be supported by a medical certificate. In the event of you missing the quiz with a valid excuse, the remainder of your CA will hold additional weight.

i was wondering what he meant by this, and confused. does it mean that now the first ca will weight 40%?? or will the 20% go to the final exam? since i already scored an a+, i was thinking of mc-ing this second quiz if indeed the weightage goes to 40% instead.

dropped him a mail, and he said that he is not sure, and would be decided by the office of academic services at the university level for all courses.

anyone got any advice??

I think the other 20% for your quiz will go to your finals, meaning your final is now 80% instead of 60%

You can email your school to waive the clashes.
But my friend is both core lectures clashed la
ur case is exam date so not idea but can email to ask first ==

Do you want it to count towards your Graduation requirements? (ie bring forward your Professional Internship from Y2) Or just take it as an extra internship for the experience? The first is more complicated and you need to contact both UPO & CAO, but it's possible. The second - you can approach the companies directly.

Btw, do you have an older brother also in NBS?
