Which benefits is most valued for money?

I am a union member and wonder which NTUC course or training or benefits is best valued?

If you shop regularly at NTUC, is worthwhile.

Can gain enough bonus link points to offset the monthly membership fees, so it is free membership.

Got some supermarket deals only for members.
Eg recently I bought some expensive fruits , offered at 50% off, only to members.

If you only have Sheng Siong near your place, then it is not worthwhile to get NTUC Membership.

Now Trust Bank also got higher interest rates if you are an NTUC Member. So if you have a few hundred k of spare cash and want to earn more interest, that’s one possible reason to become a member.

I remember in 90s y2k union fought for my basic salary, my increments, my bonus as well

Now I no more member i wonder still the same !

Upon graduation you can embark a new career as taxi or PHV driver.

Why be security guard doing boring gantry lookout or food delivery under rain sun ? When you can drive car around making money and use the rental car as own transport?
