2) Power Lock

If both running without limits both will perform the same.

I don't think there will be any meaningful difference between a NUC and laptop if they are running the same specs. Basically NUC is a laptop without your monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers. Not sure what NUC you are eyeing, but you typically get a better bang for buck going for a laptop.

This is very hard to determine because typically they just advertised as XX W TDP. They won't tell you they boost it up to 28W TDP for example. This is purely at the discretion of the manufacturer. So I won't recommend considering something that is unclear.

eyeing series 10 intel nuc. hmm... why laptop better bang for buck? is it like for the same price, u got a screen and keypad?

guys, reason why i looking at nuc is because i am still gonna output the display to a larger monitor and dun need it to be mobile... or is it more worth it to just get a laptop instead?

nucs are not worth it. u might as well build ur own sffpc and run off the integrated graphics. sffpc also has options to upgrade in the future.
the most powerful nuc, the 10th gen i7 one, the kit (no ram, ssd) already costs $800. but u can build a more powerful ryzen based complete system in an inwin chopin for cheaper.
for barebones ryzen itx build:
ryzen 3 4350g - $200
wraith stealth - $5
asrock b550m-itx - $240
inwin chopin - $125
total is $570, then just add ssd and ram (same as nuc kit) to get functional system. get 2x8gb 3600mhz ddr4 and 500gb 970 evo from amazon should be can hit $775, less than the barebones nuc kit. the inwin chopin is quite a compact case and easily portable. u can also choose to upgrade to more powerful apus in the future, something u cannot do with nucs or laptops.

Yeah, totally agree with it.
NUC is expensive yet you get lesser compare to a laptop or PC.

For mobility, laptop is always a better choice....some of the model comes with HDMI output to Monitor too....

If u r doing computing work at a fixed location, desktop or NUC will be preferred....
