Anyone in Mechanical Engineering then?

I got an offer from NUS already, NTU should come any time soon. My grades barely made it (lower than 10th percentile but still got the offer) for NUS, that's why I'm rather worried that I won't be able to cope in NUS. Would NTU be a better choice? Distance won't be a problem though. NUS just looks like a livelier place to study in :)

Same situation here. Was offered NUS Comp Engineering last week even though my grades are 2.5 points below the 10th percentile. It is my second year applying. Last year I was rejected by NUS while NTU offered me Common Engineering. I'm worried about my capability to cope in NUS too but still gonna go for it as distance matters alot for a guy staying in Sengkang like me :(

Hi Guys

I have been accepted into NUS Materials engineering with A lvl grades of BCD/C which is my 3rd choice. My first 2 choices are Real estate and Project facilities and management and I was rejected by them... Just wondering how come I could even get into Materials engineering since the 10 percentile is much much higher than the former.

Its demand and supply i guess. No one applied for material engineering so you got it! Going to nus/ntu this year?

Just apply for both then see what is offered to you. But once the offers from both unis come, I would choose NUS over NTU if I were you. And this is coming from a NTU student. But be prepared to mug like hell no matter which uni you choose because it is god damned engineering you are talking about! :s13:
Hey u were from which engineering course in ntu? Why would u recommend to go to nus instead?
