The prof must be eating subsided nus canteen food for too long

Alot of middle class families of 4 with 2 set of parents in law probably spend that amount or more per annum
Erm but the 2 sets of in laws in different households right? They also get $800 each household mah

wow, should just one shot increase 2% ????

i wonder how he con his masters ......

and i for sure , know what his pattern like : act and be like machiam savior and hero, nerd style can comprehend and show off his l33t analytical skills etc.

but in reality, he just helped to solve a gang of crooks, to further inflate numbers and decrease productivity.
He is just an idiot using some nonsense analogy displaying his ignorance and in his nus frog well environment. Or if not, he is selling his soul to elites, dying to join them in ivory tower.

im just more amazed, the bootlickers....

its like EVERYONE in the comments are just [ once anti-pap or opp = dont listen ]

yet, they dont know the broad scheme of how that 1% + 1% = 5% directly for the rest of the next 100 years.....

1st , 1% increase , say goods and incoming supplies

$1 worth of whatever, will be 1.40
Simply because of [ Landlord, transport , workers fee, handling etc ]
EVEN after bulk discount.

now, that is done

another 1% of the 1.4 ?
$2 immediately or close to ,

apply the same logic ....

Since he is a "pro in tech " and " ai "

1 x RTX™ 4060 Ti E from shopee now is 660.

1% of that + other shop related hidden charges 666.6 +/-

670

another 1% on top of it ?

it goes on and forth...

Side note, i think the gst, is just to recoup the blunder and mess done during covid

This prof always talk big in nus whisper. He think he big fvk. Only glazed by nus cs nerds.
increase 1% gst let say 1cent but business owner will round up become 10cent which become more than 10%. Then multiply a few times more because product change hands a few times via distribution.
and also many products shouldnt even charge gst but then seller will say others good increase price bo bian then pass this tax back to consumer

What the hell is he talking? CDC vouchers and assurance package was never about the GST. For GST, there was the GST vouchers!
Yalor make me so confused, isn't cdc meant to help us cope with col during covid period and also help the merchants at the same time... So now covid is over by right no more CDC,
I think it's gonna end in 2026 since the cdc voucher scheme supposed to be from 2022-2026 if I remember correctly

Gst is 9% not 1%. Where is the gst vouchers for gst3%, gst5%, gst7%, gst 8%? The vouchers all gone and forgotten? But gst remain.

Aiya gst increase is meant for wealth redistribution ma, take money from the rich to help the poor. If your gst rebates not enough to cover the gst increase means you are rich lor

kumgong professor living in lalaland ah? Also never cite any data, only provide hypothetical scenarios,no understanding of how supply chain work

hahahahahaha
Each supplier in the chain increases by 1% each. You think so linear end price also increase by 1 cent?
Must ask kopi stall how come gst increase by 1%, instead of drinks increasing from $1 to $1.01, how come is increased by 10% to $1.10?

Repeat this for other products
