All the poor RTX 2080 Ti owners... USD $699 can beat it.

Hopefully there is availability.

Speculating, AMD Navi 2/RDNA 2 GPUs must be really powerful too else why would nVidia drop their prices so much.

I'm tempted by the 3070 even though I will probably end up using it mainly for videos and to surf Hardware Clinic. :s13:

I'm tempted to build a new rig with the 3070 to play cyberpunk but it'll probably be just some dota and net surfing after lol

But a USD $499 GPU is still affordable for a rig that can do light gaming for a few years at least

still have to see AIB prices. I expect a huge markup by them given the likely demand, maybe S$1000 for the 3070 locally.

The folks that spent 1.5-1.6k on a 2080ti in the last few months must be feeling damn shortchanged now

Can get next gen slightly same performance at half the price

Indeed the Titan has only been renamed to the 3090. Making those hardcore enthusiast who wants the highest number in the tier to opt for that.

Though like the Titan, the price is there to match that kind of pricing. Thus the ridiculous, more than 2x the price of the 3080.

The 3080 in itself is a good enough upgrade over the 2080 Ti. So for my HDMI 2.1 card, looks like I'll be going for the 3080 while I wait for the 3080 Ti next year. :s12:

This also allows them to keep the Titan name for the next mid-cycle release i.e. 3090ti

if rumors are right, 3080 and 3090 are using same big die, meaning in another 6-9 months? will get 3080 Super, which will have the expanded 20GB vram. Worth to wait imo unless you need to chiong cyberpunk with RTX. :o

3080 with 10GB vram seems not here or there.

wonder how 3050 or 3060 fairs against the 2000 series....but that will be another announcement...since way back in the days they showcase their top tier than few months down the road their budget version out.
