RX 6500 XT is available in Lazada and Shopee, you guys can take a look, pricing confirms the increase after CNY.
crypto crashing and increased supply over the coming few months
i doubt price will increase

don't forget that this is a 4gb card with very poor compute efficiency, miners would not pick up this card considering that amd are about to release cards with faster memory and nvidia is about to release cards with more memory

the only people who would pick up this card are the low end gamers who wouldn't want to pay 1k for a used 2060 super

also the msrp of this card is $200 usd which equals to $260 sgd
add in the mark ups this card should not be above $300
how much is it on lazada and shopee?

reviews said not bad, worth for money

Worth the MSRP, but chances of you finding it at MSRP is very slim. Just take the disastrous RX 6500 XT as example. The MSRP is USD 199. Locally, the cheapest I can find is SGD 359, and most expensive at SGD 499 on Lazada/ Shopee. That is nowhere near MSRP even after factoring GST.
The demand of Nvidia card is strong, plus the fact that this card walks all over the RX 6500 XT with 8GB VRAM will surely attract a steep premium even on day 1 of release.

Less than $400 for others brand, Asus around $440
It is terrible value anytime it exceeds its MSRP. At 440, that is the cost of the RX 5500 XT 8GB then, which performs just as well as the RX 6500 XT, got more VRAM and comes with a lot more features.

Honestly, RX 6500 XT doesn't seem is a better choice for budget GPU.

while the 6500xt is a no go for people with older systems without pcie 4, i still think it has a place for new gamers who are building a relatively modern system (zen 2/rocket lake on 500 series mobo or later for pcie 4 support) but cannot find a new affordable gpu. local set sapphire pulse model is going for about $350 from carou and even pct (on lazada), which is slightly more than what an rx 580 4gb costs on carou but all are used and without warranty and cheaper than any 1650 super model. it is also still in stock at the same price a week after launch, which is already a lot better than any other current gen gpu launch. 200usd + gst is about $290, so after factoring local distro markup ur probably getting upcharged by "only" $50, which is a lot less than the at least $200 markup we've seen on basically any other card too. im seeing carou listings for the 3050 already starting at $550 and going up to $750 (cant tell if its even local set), which means that while it is the more consistent performer and thus suited for more people, unless miner demand slumps we're probably going to see the same $200 markup for it, though it is still a little early to say for sure.

I've been telling peeps in various forums, for those with PCIe 3.0 mobos, nothing to see, move on. But if have PCIe 4.0 mobos, the RX 6500 XT (if can be had for as near MSRP as possible) would be a good card for 1080P gaming at mostly Medium setting. can get away with a good gaming experience, forget 'Ultra' setting, forget 1440P or higher. The the RTX 3050 would beat it was never in doubt, but at what cost?

"Real street" pricing:
6500XT - $355
3050 - $700

What mooreslawisdead YT channel said is accurate. Nvidia's launch wins with better reception than AMD's launch, despite having near non-existent stock.

if what mlid says is true, its going to be the 3060 situation all over again, first day msrp then inflated pricing ever since. now carou most listings are at $700, with only bizgram (!) selling at $600. at $700, u might as well get rx 6600, which can offer up to half as much more performance (again mlid touched on this in his latest video).
