same here. only thing i find is that the screen is dust magnet. by brushing it away to the side, the speaker rubber patch sooner or later will get dirty easily.

It's not really refreshed since spec-wise, it's the same as the original Shield tablet that came out in 2014.

The only differences with the K1 are lower price tag, resolved overheating issue and no 32gb storage option.

So the concern of it being "outdated" is quite valid since this tablet is more than a year old.

Although saying that, I bought the tablet during black friday but I only got it today because the first shipment was lost :s22:

I'm planning to order 1 tonight. Accessories should I buy along with it in amazon or eBay or any local sellers here? Thinking of getting a case and screen protector.. Saw the poetic rugged case for it but doesn't ship to sg..

I'm still deciding on this or $299 sgd local set Asus 8 with a year local warranty.

So far any issue with shield tablet?

I am using the first generation of the shield and totally loving it :)

the HDMI port is really the deal clincher for me because I like to hook it up to my TV. Cannot stand those MHL tablets where there are so many different types of connectors and half the time they dont work!

My shield has the original flip cover :) Just need to find the right screen protector now!
