The other thing is would you happen to know if GeforceNow needs a controller to play? Does it work just from the touchscreen itself? Thanks

After searching, Geforce Now needs controller to play.

Updated to firmware 6.0.1, all is working fine. Sound is great for a tablet. Graphics is excellent. Touchscreen is responsively quick. I had only 1 issue that is Google services had stopped during initial new device setup. Thereafter all is running well. Battery life seems good for now as it is new device. 3hrs 20mins SOT with playing games, internet, youtube, no social apps. Left 33% battery life.

Hope this helps anyone whom is looking at this tablet.

Don't panic, they're just not concentrating on mass market product i.e. mobile phone where they aren't making any headway.

The Shield K1 is running Android 6.01 after an update upon first boot up.

It's a great purchase. My favourite tablet so far after Google stopped producing the Nexus line of tablets.

Read some reviews after the owners upgraded to 6.0 and the battery leak problems started.
Battery drained fast.

Did that happen to yours?
