Interested to know about the LTE set and comes with international warranty?

Did you guys from from USA Amazon or UK Amazon? The version for North America does not support the LTE Band 3 (1800mhz) which I believe is more commonly used in SG.

I am very tempted to buy from Amazon UK for SGD610 all in. I know it is more expensive but it would likely be functional in SG.

I'm using an AT&T Moto X which only supports band 7 / 2600 mhz like the the North America Nvidia Shield Tablet. Getting pretty good 4G LTE coverage on SingTel.

Haha, ok i think i will get the UK version although more ex by $60. Covers 2 years warranty.

Tablet costs GBP250 for overseas (no VAT) plus GBP15 shipping.

IIRC ... it's something to do with EU warranty law for consumers

I did some quick calculations, it seems that ordering from UK is at least on par if not cheaper compared to US.

GBP 249.98 +15.29 + 18.57 = SGD 569

USD 399.00 + 16.70 + 30.29 = SGD 579

Technically, the hardware will work with SG LTE networks according to Nvidia. But you will have to wait till someone here buys the LTE tablet and post their results to confirm for sure.

There are three versions of SHIELD tablet LTE. There is a North American version that works on AT&T, T-Mobile and Rogers on LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 7, and 17 and HSPA bands 1, 2, 4, 5.

There is a second International version that works on popular European and Asian networks. It supports LTE bands 3, 7, 20 and HSPA+ bands 1, 2, 5, 8.

Check with your favorite carrier to verify coverage in your area.

And I think it should also be SIM unlocked as there are some reviewers on the Amazon page stating they use it on T-Mobile networks.

Apparently, the voice calling function is only software locked in the US LTE version.
