i removed the sd card and then click the sd card, after that you will be prompted if you want to 'forget' the encrypted internal storage. select yes. then put back the sd card again to format it again. duno if there's an easier way or not

i personally find the nvidia cover not worth it as it does not protects the whole tablet. I got previous version (Shield tablet) cover. it fits perfectly excecpt for the opening for the stylus which K1 does not have

how much will that be? release date? Previously shared my tots to another pal. I tot the price is good for a grab. if you wait for x1, other brands might announce another new tablet then you will endup waiting again. but still, have to reason out why you want a tablet. Need or Want?

i read that the marshmallow update for 1st gen shield will only be out in early 2016, no exact confirmed date.

The X1 will probably be out in July-August 2016 (my guess) and likely at the price of US$299 or higher. I chose to buy the K1 because it's cheaper and I don't need the additional speed of the X1 processor. So that is something that you should consider too.

Probably you can only get it from a reseller at a markup in Singapore. Makes much more sense to get it from Amazon and have it shipped to Singapore via free shipping.

Hi guys, I'm planning to get the 16gb WiFi model straight from Amazon since they offer free direct shipping.
Got a few questions to ask,
Is this model outdated since I read there's a newer model out?
How's the battery life when playing games such as vainglory?
Any necessary accessories I should get along when purchasing from Amazon?
*touch wood* any problem with the device must ship back straight to the states?

The Nvidia K1 just got refreshed last month. How is it outdated? Any problem send back to Amazon.

I'm planning to get one too. Where you guys get your screen protector and case? Amazon got any discount codes? highly doubt so though haha

I thinking of getting with the Nvidia cover along with it too, so can forego the screen protector. :s13:
