6 hrs until full charge! which cable/adapter are you all using?

Charging is damn weird for me too. First time I charge using my PC's USB port... I think less than 5% charge OVERNIGHT.

From then on, I use a separate USB plug that plugs into a socket, much faster.

Using a USB port to charge has always been sucky. Direct plug is always better.

6 hrs charge is long.
it doesn't have quick charge right?
btw seeing some issues like batt drain due to cpu on marshmellow.. in forums.

waiting for OTA.

anyone updated facing such issues?

Nope, but then again, I don't stress the CPU much. Just watching videos and reading Marvel Unlimited.

Using a USB port to charge has always been sucky. Direct plug is always better.

But this is exceptionally sucky. I used to charge my Nexus 7 on the same USB port, never have this issue. Not sure if it's due to Marshmallow or some other issue.

PC USB gives out between 500mah - 1A at 5v. You're better off using a wall charger which charges at 2.1-2.4A at 5v. Those quick charge chargers can charge at 12v 1A.

Any newer Iphone or Samsung charger should have quick charge.

but I thought the shield does not support quick charge? Or am I mistaken???

What minimum specs of micro sd card should i get for my shield k1? Intend to convert the micro sd card into internal storage too..
