Tensor cores means very specific deep learning applications. In every other case, it more or less 14 TFLOPs.

Games, 3d rendering, etc do not use Tensor Cores.
It's just a a bit faster than Pascal (12->14 TFLOPs). Not really much of a ground breaker for games if you ask me.

Would it be worth to upgrade from 1080 Ti to Titan V? for gaming. I mainly play older games like Final Fantasy 14, Stardew Valley and recently Tales Series. /s

Anyway, this is a very interesting technology by nVidia for Tensor and Machine Learning research. $3000 is a lot for consumers but this isn't really aimed at consumers.

Slight improvement over the Titan Xp (15 vs 12.1 TeraFlops) in single precision floating point (FP32).

So whether or not it is worth it for gaming, your call. Remember that games only use FP32. FP64 or FP16 is hardly (if ever) used.

I was right the leaked was real, but poor kudo to that intern. He probably got blacklisted.


And i was also right there is too much bad yield on the gv 100 that they have to sell it off as titan for those failed chips.


If what I anticipated is is not wrong this might get EOL onces the yield catch up. So grab it fast!

And for once, nvidia finally listen to consumer naming scheme calling it titan V

Actually consider it comes with dp, tensor cores and hbm what do you expect also.


Everyone been complaining why nvidia never release hbm card. Now u have it lor lol. They show to u why its not a good idea in the first place
