Hmm. Design looks like the Nvidia Titan Volta prototype leaked by the Nvidia intern back in May.

Yup that’s the same one that was leaked.... now the price for the Titan xp is cheaper than the original Titan xp...

This is never meant to be a gaming card in the first place. Surely one can game on it, but it is not worth the price for most that are only focused on gaming. With GTX 2xxx expected to be released next year, it is better to wait. If you are looking at using for deep learning and such, then it may be a good investment since it is significantly cheaper than a full fledge Volta card.

The question i had in mind was how many ROPs does the card have?

Also how good of a mining card this is lol

I would rather use 1080Ti for development and EC2 P3 for production.

Much more value for money

Behold, the reference Titan V PCB uses components that is even more high end than any 1080 Ti Kingpin or HOF card.

This is what you pay for $3000.

Tensor cores means very specific deep learning applications. In every other case, it more or less 14 TFLOPs.

Games, 3d rendering, etc do not use Tensor Cores.
It's just a a bit faster than Pascal (12->14 TFLOPs). Not really much of a ground breaker for games if you ask me.

Shader cores means very specific graphic processing applications. In every other case, it more or less (whatever the CPU MIPS is).

Games, model rendering, etc do not use Shader Cores.
It's just a a bit faster than (whatever was the older gen CPU). Not really much of a ground breaker for games if you ask me.
