This is my first month with an OCBC bank account, in the "Pay billing organisation" section, my new OCBC credit cards are an account option to pay the bills with.

I assume this would be something like a cash advance, and not a traditional charge, correct? I would love to be able to double dip and pay my bills (SP and AMEX) with the card to earn rewards.

Only retail credit card spending?

Hi OCBC,
Just to check if it is only retail credit card spending that will then count into the $400? (eg: Go buy things or eat out)

What about if we pay our Starhub, M1, Singtel bills via OCBC credit card? Does this count in or out?

Its not a cash advance, although I am sure when you try to pay AMEX using CC, it will say its not a valid option when you click. For SP and Town council, its OK, but not I know FRANK does not give rebates for this type of bill payment via iBanking.

Everything counts except for finance charges, annual fees , interest, fund transfer etc.

Even without the 6% rebate, I guess it still would count towards my $500 spend.

What about earning miles with Titanium?

I might as well use one of the cards, since the money doesn't have to be taken from my account for another month when the CC bill is in.

I cut and paste from T&C
Your spending on these cards do not qualify for this bonus :
• Debit cards
• ATM cards
• Corporate cards
• Business cards
• Private label cards

bros, please check whether your OCBC credit card(s) in wallet qualify for the bonus interest.

Hi OCBC,

When i check with my insurance agent (Prudential) he say cannot use OCBC to pay, his company will reject and thus i need to pay penalty if giro doesn't go thru. Saying OCBC co-partner is Great Eastern (another Insurance company) thats why cannot use Credit Card to pay thru OCBC as well. Will bounce payment. Is that true??

Retails spending dun count for "bill" payment. I called and also reconfirmed at their counter.... So must be retails eg NTUC purchase, etc

What is the period for the $400 spending? Start to end of the month or depends on my bill cycle?

Both my frank card and 360 acct were opened on 24th of the month.

Has anyone checked whether the interest for 360 account has been credited correctly. My account is opened 13th Apr 2014 and I have paid 3 different bills before 30th Apr with this account. However I still only receive the base interest and not the additional interest of 1%?

Hi OCBC, could you kindly advise on this? Thanks.
