Hi MoDie

if you pay for 3 individual credit cards (doesn't matter if its OCBC cards or non-OCBC cards) through our Pay Any Card service in Online Banking, this will fulfill the criteria for the 3 unique bill payments.

But let's say a bill for 1 single biller or card number is split into multiple payments, then this will still only count as 1 unique bill / card payment.

Hope this clarifies.

^Greg
For OCBC Bank

Greg,

So it has to be a unique bill/credit card payment. Multiple payment to the same bill/cc in a month will still be account 1 payment?

the t&c never mention min amt, I got 0.21 rebate in my cc, I charge $1.40, so I pay balance 1.19, it is paying a cc bill already lah.

If I pay my 3 Citibank CC using OCBC Internet banking, does it constitute to 3 bill paid and I will get the 1% bonus?

Separately, how do you clock the $400 spending per month? You go by calendar month or go by the monthly bill?

aiyah, ocbc already clearly stated in earlier post, 1 cc is 1 bill, so u got 3 citi cc, is 3 bills lor, fulfilled.

It has to be calendar mth spend since bonus interest will be paid on the 7th, if at mthend ocbc checked and u fulfilled the critieria

Omg, OCBC internet banking has been down for 3 days and it's still not rectified. I have to make one more bill payment before the end of this month!

It's still down and I called the hotline yesterday. Was told they are still working on it and will call me once it's up. Maybe the issue is intermittent? I've been trying since morning today. The screen just shows "loading" after I key in ID and password.

OCBC GREG,

Using OCBC CC for online "FINE" payment does it contribute towards the $400 spending?

E.g, LTA Fine $50, Traffic Police $50, NEA Fine $300 = $400

Payment are made via OCBC Credit card, Can the above count towards the 360 account CC spending criteria?

the T & C said initial depoist $1k.

Is it the only way? Able to deposit more? If yes, how much more?

If there are people who open the acc one short put $50k? still able to award the 3.05% provide all other conditions fufilled?

If not able to open the acc with more than $1k, then after opening the account, can deposit myself, say, another $10k? Interest still got count?

I'm asking because based on the T&C, it also seems that the account is limited to ONLY the giro-deposits by Salary.

Pls correct me if i'm wrong. Thanks.

Q 1) the T & C said initial depoist $1k.

A 1) Initial Deposit is $1000, but need to keep the account above 3k every month so not to pay the extra $2 charge. First 2 year free.

Q 2) Is it the only way? Able to deposit more? If yes, how much more? If there are people who open the acc one short put $50k? still able to award the 3.05% provide all other conditions fufilled?

A 2) The interest given max is up to 3.05% p.a. if 3 things is done(Spend $400 on OCBC Credit Card, pay 3 bills, deposit giro salary 2k at least), only up to $50,000 is paid for interest. Beyond that will still be the the same. Can put 50k one shot no problem.

Q 3 ) If not able to open the acc with more than $1k, then after opening the account, can deposit myself, say, another $10k? Interest still got count?

A 3) As long as within the month, base interest 0.05% will count at end of the month. The other 3% interest will kick in on the next month 7th business day. If this month only 1k you still need another 2k by end of the month to earn the 0.05% interest. Do all 3 requirements before the 7th business of the next month.

Q 4) I'm asking because based on the T&C, it also seems that the account is limited to ONLY the giro-deposits by Salary.

A 4) Your salary needs to be giro showing "SAL GIRO" otherwise not counted, cannot deposit/transfer from another bank account.

I applied for an OCBC account that suppose to come with credit card. 3 weeks liao still no news. Really super inefficient.

Nothing with my credit history as I have never taken any loan before. No debt and earning more than $70k a year.
