To qualify for the credit card spend bonus interests, a minimum spend of $500 is needed within the calendar month.

Eligible transactions with posting date within the calendar month will be considered, less off and excluding amounts in all transactions that are terminated, voided, reversed or cancelled.

Paying off your insurance monthly premium would count towards satisfying one of the bill payment requirement if it is a successful bill payment via 'Pay Bills' or if it is a GIRO payment.
