To be frank, $50,000 is way too little. Not worth the effort to play the game. Rather put the whole chunk into other investments.

My colleague is currently crediting her salary into OCBC account, and it states GIRO-SALARY while I'm crediting into DBS which shows as SAL.

It seems different banks for their own code, so maybe you can check with any of your colleagues with salaries crediting into OCBC.

For my case, it meets the criteria.

Hi kyuushin, in order to qualify for the salary credit bonus, you have to credit a minimum salary of S$2,000 each month.
