I also want to know, I paying prudential insurance monthly via CC, does it consider the $400 spending?

Hi OCBC Greg,

i opened my 360 account on 3rd april. prior to that, i spent 1000+ on my frank card on 31st march and was posted on ibanking on 2nd april. frank card will be billed on 30th april.

does this mean i have already hit the $400 spend criteria?

Yes, as long as the spends for the eligible credit cards are posted in the calendar month, this would count towards meeting the requirement for the Credit Card Spend Bonus Interest.

How do you pay prudential premiums through OCBC CC? though prudential exclude OCBC credit cards?

Insurance payments are not specifically excluded so they will count.

However, as others have mentioned, Prudential doesn't accept OCBC cards.

This is a really good question. Can an OCBC representative clarify on this please?
I called up OCBC yesterday to ask this exact same question. The customer officer said that she will call me back but so far no calls.

however...a very, very very slim chance of still losing your 50k... when sg gov goes bankrupt icelandic-style.

It's not covered by SG gov... it's covered by SDIC.
