Thank you all for the clarification.

Looks like the 360 has finally come to its demise

I've already opened a maybank saveup account... now just switched some of my giro to it too. the rest of the giro or payment arrangements will be switching to other credit cards. once all done, will be closing the account... should be around May.

GIRO arrangement can take around 2 months. So if using GIRO to meet requirement for bonus interest, transfer funds over only after GIRO is completely set up.

OCBC 360 considers credit card payments for payments bonus. My question is does boc smart saver or uob one consider credit card payments for payments bonus.

If not I am not switching away from OCBC 360 as my credit card spend without bill payment will be very low.

Either 3 giro payments (from UOB One bank account) or salary credit (to UOB One bank account) but must meet minimum $500 monthly spending on UOB One credit card to enjoy higher interest rates (up to 2.43%) for UOB ONE bank account (up to amount of $50k).

Yes, 5 transactions since 1 Feb 2017.

YOLO card is not mentioned.

"when you spend S$500 monthly on your UOB One Card and/or selected Cards."

"Selected Cards include UOB Lady's Card+, UOB Debit Card and UOB Direct Visa Debit Card"

"+UOB Lady’s Card refers to any UOB Lady’s / Lady’s Platinum / Lady’s Solitaire Credit and/or Lady's Debit Cards issued by UOB."

For more details, please refer to website as follows;

Dun quite understand ur question, but from what I see, it's a totally diff thing u are comparing.

For Payment Bonus, BOC is a yes. UOB has no payment bonus interest.

Paying other bank's credit card bills does not constitute to a valid spend on your OCBC credit card. Unless u successfully manage to do so, Then we learn a new thing.

Sorry about the confusion. I am not talking about OCBC credit card spending. I dont like any OCBC cards, I occasionally use the Robinsons card when there is Expo.

I am only talking about payment bonus. I use multiple credit cards from other banks. I pay my singtel, SP Services etc bills using credit cards from other banks. Then I pay those credit card bills using OCBC 360 and I qualify for the payment bonus.

I was not sure if switching out from OCBC 360 to other similar accounts like BoC smart saver, will let me earn the payment bonus in the same way, by paying my ANZ, Citi and CIMB credit card bills. I would rather pay my utility, internet etc bills using credit cards rather than directly using bank account bill payment.

Yes 3 unique bill payments of min $30 to other credit cards via ibanking/mbanking/GIRO from BOC smartsaver account earns you 0.35% interest. 3 unique GIRO bill payment to other credit cards from UOB One allows u to meet one of the criteria for the higher bonus interest.

Payment bonus in OCBC 360 only 0.3%, why care so much?

Others like BOC, Maybank give you more earnings.
