Hi OCBC,

If I buy shoe at Gucci store inside Changi Airport (duty free) and if I am not given 10x OCBC$, shall I PM here for you to investigate ?

Hi winhow,

We note that there are DFS Ventures transactions that are coming in under MCC 5311 which is eligible for 10X OCBC$.

If your purchase falls within the eligible category, and it so happens to fall under an non-eligible MCC, do get in touch with us via private message, and we will help you sort it out. Please keep a copy of your invoice.

Some questions

Hi, can you please advise on the following:

1. Is The Shilla at Changi Airport eligible for the 10x category?

2. Is there a way for me to check the OCBC$ awarded for each individual purchase such that I am able to calculate and reconcile the OCBC$ awarded?

3. When would the bonus OCBC$ for April's transactions be in?

Thanks!

sports attire

hi, am thinking of buying some sports attire (clothes, shoes) - could you advise whether this falls under 10x?

based on previous posts, understand buying from Nike / Adidas / Fila will be eligible for 10x - what about royal sporting house / world of sports ?

thanks for all the help you have been giving :)

Hi dckhzgh,

Purchases from The Shilla Duty Free will not be eligible for 10x OCBC$.

We are afraid that you will be unable to do so on your end. If you wish to know the breakdown of OCBC$ awarded on each transaction, you may put in your request by calling our hotline at 1800-363-3333.

1x OCBC$ will be credited once the transaction is posted. The remaining 9x OCBC$ will be credited at the end of the following month, based on the transaction posted date.

Hi Fujima,

We are not able to ascertain at the moment if transactions made at Royal Sporting House & World of Sports will be eligible for 10X OCBC$, but we will be granting you the 10X OCBC$ if it's not given automatically.

Please keep a copy of the invoice. If it so happens that you were not granted the additional OCBC$, just drop us a private message, and we will help you sort it out.

Hi rainbowfied,

May we check on when was the transaction made?

1x OCBC$ will be credited once the transaction is posted. The remaining 9X OCBC$ will be credited at the end of the following month, based on the transaction posted date.

You may refer to the 2 examples below:

If the purchase was made on 28 May & the merchant posted the transaction on 30 May, 9X OCBC$ will be credited by the end of June.

However, if you have only made the purchase on 30 May & the merchant only posted the transaction on 1 June, 9X OCBC$ will then only be credited by the end of July.

Hi dckhzgh,

Shillla Duty Free transactions are coming in under MCC 5309-Duty Free Stores, which does not fall under any of the eligible MCCs.

Hi OCBC,

Could I also check if iShopChangi transactions are coded with MCC 5309?

Thanks~

I just received a Annual Fee charge on my card. However I checked that I had spent >$10k in the preceding 12 months. Will the annual fee be reversed automatically later on before the bill is issued, or I still have to put in a fee waiver request?

Hi, do all transactions on Qoo10 get 10X OCBC$ regardless of the item I buy?

Also, does buying a phone from m1.com.sg qualify for 10X?

Thanks.

Is this card or the UOB PPV better for general day to day use(fastfood, groceries, random purchases) with lots of online transactions at lazada/qoo10/amazon.

It's getting so confusing out there, I just want 1 card that can do everything and still redeem some rewards.

So far I see OCBC Titanium has rebates AND OCBC$ at some retailers, but PPV gives more points for paywave.
