Hi OCBC,

Regarding the OCBC Credit Card Sign-Up Promotion (Online Exclusive) and OCBC Titanium Rewards Card Apply and Spend Promotion

I applied for both titanium and 365 online on the same day. Which card spend will be counted for the $500 requirement? What should I do in order to be eligible for the $228 cash reward from 365 and also the 28,800 OCBC$ from titanium. Pls advise, thanks.
The promos do not stack, both are for new to OCBC only. Once you are approved for one, you aren’t new to OCBC for the second card already.

Btw OCBC is not here anymore, you have to contact them directly to figure out which one is your “new to OCBC” card and which promo you’re disqualified from.

PSA in case anyone needs to search the tread for future - Nike stores (and I suppose online too) do not give bonus points as they're under 5655 merchant code. I suppose Adidas and the likes are also under this same merchant code as they're considered sports apparels.

OCBC did mention it was included in 2019 in this chat, but I guess that has changed since then.

I did mention in my post #3278 dated 26May22. Nike stores that sell sports shoes do not qualify for bonus point.
Really give up for the MCC code.

I purchased some clothing from Jewel's Uniqlo in Apr, but when I received my OCBC statement, it showed that the purchase was from Jewel Changi Airport and not Uniqlo. I am not sure if I will still receive my bonus reward points from OCBC.
It's very strange. This has never happened when I made purchases from other Uniqlo outlets.

I have 2 titanium cards. How do I see which bonus $ belong to which card? Thanks.
The OCBC$ earned from these 2 cards are pooled together for redemption. If you would like to view the points accrued for each transaction, you can login to OCBC Internet Banking and click on "Rewards" tab on the top right corner followed by "Transaction History" on the left panel to view the OCBC$ earned for each transaction.

Does a tailoring shop (MCC 5697) qualify for rewards?

Is there any benefit to using OCBC Titanium with Amaze? I assume it is just to reduce the foreign exchange fee, because the rewards are the same for online and offline spend.

I bought a LV bag at Takashimaya. Many times I confirmed with them their mcc 5699, after it’s charged I called up and ur staff told me it was 5948, luggage and leather goods. How would it be fair I spent few thousands dollars on a bag and u giving me 0.4 miles? In that case I would rather use uob preferred platinum card + Hsbc revolution card + Citibank rewards card, or better still to use any general spending card! Come on la Ocbc, every time make transaction need to guess need to check mcc then confirm with cashier is already enough homework already now I still have to go through this nonsense? Do u mean I have to go back to LV to tell them to reverse the transaction and recharge using the terminal that coded 5699?!!
Heymax.ai say Louis Vuitton Singapore is MCC 5631 (Women’s Accessory and Specialty Shops). Has anyone verified this?

Bros what spend level do you have to justify having separate OCBC card and risk orphan miles?

Right now you can get UOB Lady's Solitaire ($3,000/month), UOB Visa Signature ($2,000/period for contactless or overseas) and DBS Woman's World ($2,000/month for online).

So unless you buy expensive laptop, you have more options before you get to the OCBC Titanium right?

Anyone can talk from experience?
