bought stuff from AMAZON and only rewarded 1 X OCBC point.

Reason given by OCBC: The transaction was not awarded the bonus 9 X OCBC $ as the merchant had categorised their business as Book Stores.

In the first place, all my items were not even books. They are mostly men clothing and shoes.

Please think carefully before using this card. not gonna use it anymore.

Hi lasnoblur,

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to learn that you were not granted 10X reward on your transaction.

We would like to clarify that 10X Rewards will be given to the Merchant Categorisation Code (MCC) as stated in our Terms & Conditions - https://www.ocbc.com/assets/pdf/cards/titanium_rewards_credit_card-terms-conditions.pdf?rand=1

MCC is determined by the merchants and its' acquiring banks.

Nope, just email them to enquire, they will let you know if got quota - fill up a form and done. I didn't even show my card.

Got call from OCBC 3 months ago to promote this card. They told me this card give 4 air miles every S$1 spent, sound good so just agreed to get one. Only later found that only certain merchant code qualify for the bonus points. By reading this forum, even Courts is not qualify because their merchant code is under "furniture". Because no way to ensure the merchant qualify for bonus points, So the only way to be sure to get the bonus points is via Samsung pay, Google pay and Apple pay.

Last month received the first statement - no bonus points! So called OCBC and confirmed that some mistake and the missing bonus points will be included in next month statement! Today received the second month statement, no bonus points from last month statement, no bonus points for this month statement also. Called OCBC again and this time they need to take 1 week to "investigate"!?!

Most credit cards have bonus point program, however, OCBC Titanium Rewards card is the only credit card that I need to call to claim the missing bonus - not only one but two times!

Anyway, mobile payments program only till 30 Sept 2017, and I am not sure about the merchant code used by each merchant, for example, Harvey Norman is under "electronics" or "furniture" or something else? So can forget about this card.

OCBC promised to release a list of common merchants that qualify for the 9x bonus pts. Still waiting for that list to be published.
