I got a reply from your colleague (via my online secured inbox) that one of my Samsung Pay transactions was not eligible for bonus 9x points. I suppose your colleague checked the merchant category without checking if the payment was made via mobile payment or not aware mobile payment is eligible for bonus 9x points. Every month i have to tally my 9x points and request for crediting of points that were not rewarded.

Would be good if your colleagues could be reminded again that the 10x points for mobile payment is valid till 30 Sep 2017. This will save both sides time as we need not ding dong over an issue which should not have existed in the first place.

Would like to know if bonus 9x points are awarded based on transaction date or posting date? Say if i have a transaction made on 31 Jul and posted on 2 Aug. Would the 9x bonus points be awarded together with Jul or Aug transactions?

For each 10X OCBC$ earned, 1 OCBC$ will be credited to the card account with every S$1 successfully charged to the card. The remaining 9 OCBC$ will be credited by the end of the next calendar month, following the relevant transaction posting date.

If your transaction was posted in August, you will receive the 9 OCBC$ by end September.
